And then – the period, whatever was you last instructional art training, until you started doing the multi-medium stuff, how far of a span are we talking in years? You know, everything that I've one through." ![]() "And a lot of the artwork sort of come from just personal experience. What it was like prior to coming to America and my sort of idea of what America was versus actually getting here and experiencing America fist hand. So literally starting from scratch with a canvas and painting some of the iconic things that I'd experienced and bringing that, really, into the forefront, and trying, sort of, to give people an idea of, you know, the Englishman abroad. "Then I met up with Wentworth Gallery and started doing more full paint. And that was really successful – people really liked what I was doing. And then what I started to do was, I started to enhance the pictures using … so I'd print them out onto canvas, then I's start to enhance them using mixed media – acrylic paints, texturizing agents, that kind of thing. So basically what you're seeing with some of the more abstract artwork is a performance – a whole performance – condensed into one photographic frame. "And that's when I started doing long-exposure photographs using drum sticks – light sticks. And more recently, my wife encouraged me to start sharing the photography. And I never really shared very many of my photographs. ![]() But I picked up a camera many years ago when I was a kid. "Well, I mean, we all have a background in art. ![]()
